Da-eun tops #DooTrader Round 2 after recording USD 14.6K in profit in one day.

Round 2 of the #DooTrader International Cup 26/27 closed on 15 August with a standout performance from Korean trader Da-eun, who topped the Wave Rider Division after finishing the round with a 483.1% return

Her defining move came as gold surged into resistance before reversing sharply. Da-eun responded with four short positions and captured nearly USD 40 of downside in around one hour, securing USD 14,666 in realised profit in a single day

The result capped another action-packed round across XAUUSD, XTIUSD and XAGUSD, while setting the stage for what comes next.

Because Round 3 is no longer just about trading solo.

The new #DooTrader Team Challenge is now live

Gold was one of the main battlegrounds throughout Round 2, and Da-eun’s winning run came at a moment when the market had already delivered a powerful move higher.

Following a strong rally on 5 August, spot gold continued climbing into the USD 4,270 per ounce region on 6 August.

Rather than chase the move higher, Da-eun watched for signs that bullish momentum was beginning to fade.

She entered two 1.00-lot short positions near USD 4,270. When gold faced renewed resistance around USD 4,268, she added another two 1.00-lot shorts.

Then the reversal came.

Gold fell from around USD 4,270 to USD 4,233, a decline of almost USD 40 per ounce in approximately one hour

As price approached support, Da-eun closed all four positions and secured the result:

USD 14,666 in realised profit

Combined with her performance throughout the round, the trade helped take Da-eun to a 483.1% return and the top position in the Wave Rider Division.

It was a classic example of why trading competitions are not only about following momentum. Sometimes, the decisive move comes from recognising when that momentum may be running out.

Under the #DooTrader International Cup 26/27 format, traders compete across the Rising Star and Wave Rider Divisions, with monthly Top 10 finishers battling for cash rewards, Scores and progress towards the season’s biggest stage.

Round 2 saw traders across global markets competing heavily across instruments including gold, silver and crude oil

Da-eun emerged as the Wave Rider champion, while other leading traders continued building their positions in the season standings and on the road to the Island Showdown Grand Final

Round 2 may be over, but the competition is already moving again.

And this time, there is a new way to enter the race.

Round 3 began on 15 August 2026 with the launch of the new #DooTrader Team Challenge, giving eligible Rising Star traders the chance to compete together instead of relying only on individual rankings.

A Team Captain can build a line-up of up to 20 members

To qualify for the monthly team leaderboard, at least five members, including the captain, must record positive returns

Once qualified, teams are ranked by average positive return. Only members finishing above 0% count towards the calculation.

The strategy is simple:

Get five in the green. Then push the average higher.

#DooTrader Team Challenge rules covering team size, qualification, and member changes.
Build up to 20 members and get five positive performers to qualify.

Eligible Rising Star participants must also meet the division’s minimum requirements of:

5 standard lots · 5 trades · 5 valid trading days

The #DooTrader Team Challenge adds another layer to the International Cup, where individual performance still matters, but now traders can also build a line-up and compete towards a shared result.

There is a USD 7,000 monthly team reward pool on the line in every round.

The Monthly Champion Team receives:

USD 5,000 + 100 Scores per member

The cash reward is shared equally among the team’s members.

The Monthly Runner-Up Team receives:

USD 2,000 + 50 Scores per member

Again, the cash reward is shared equally among the team.

#DooTrader Team Challenge rewards including USD 5,000 and up to 100 Scores per member.
Top teams compete for cash rewards and Scores towards the Island Showdown Grand Final.

Those Scores matter beyond the monthly leaderboard.

They can contribute to each participant’s position on the season Scoreboard, where the Top 3 can secure a place in the Island Showdown Grand Final

So every Team Challenge round creates another opportunity to build your season campaign.

Compete together now. Build your Scores for what comes next.

The #DooTrader International Cup 26/27 is only two rounds in, but traders have already begun claiming a significant share of the rewards.

Across the opening rounds and #DooTrader challenges:

USD 93,600 in cash rewards has already been awarded

and

2,160 Scores have already been distributed

to traders competing across the tournament.

But the overall USD 1 million prize pool remains in play as the season continues.

For traders who missed the opening rounds, the race is far from over.

More monthly competitions remain. More Scores are available. More rewards are on the table.

And with the arrival of the #DooTrader Team Challenge, there is now another way to compete on the road to the Island Showdown Grand Final

The #DooTrader International Cup is also about creating an impact beyond the leaderboard.

Through OneMission, D Prime’s global charitable initiative, every eligible lot traded during the campaign contributes to the principle:

1 Lot, 1 Hope

For every lot traded throughout the campaign, D Prime will donate USD 0.10 to support educational opportunities and essential resources for children in need.

Your trading journey can now contribute to something beyond your own result.

Round 2 delivered champions, major market moves and standout performances.

Now Round 3 is already underway.

Eligible traders can join the #DooTrader International Cup 26/27 using their D Prime account, with up to three MT4/MT5 trading accounts per participant per round

Choose your division. Meet the trading requirements. Compete for monthly rewards and Scores.

Or, if you are in the Rising Star Division, build your team and take on the new #DooTrader Team Challenge

The USD 1 million prize pool is still in play.
