How To Check And Verify The Regulatory Status On The Vanuatu Financial Services Commission

Increasing investor confidence is key to maintaining market stability. However, in times of pandemic, recession, war and other negative occurrences, investor confidence is likely to shift into lower gears. Therefore, effective regulation is needed to ensure fairness and accountability in financial market activities. In realizing this, Doo Prime has acquired a broad range of financial licenses from top authorities worldwide to create a stable trading environment for more than 60,000 clients globally.

As an international online broker, Doo Prime operates its business according to its “Clients Come First” culture. It always ensures continued growth in investor awareness of financial licensing as it is their rights to know when engaging a trading company. In this article, Doo Prime would like to share about its Financial Dealers License issued by one of the top financial regulators in the world, the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VU FSC).

From this article, investors will get an idea of the functions of the regulator and how to undergo the license verification process of a company.

About the VU FSC

The Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VU FSC) is a financial regulatory authority established in 1993. Mandated under the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission Act No. 35 of 1993, the main function of VU FSC is to regulate and supervise the non-deposit taking financial services industry of Vanuatu, preventing the public from fraud and loss.

In accordance with government legislation and international standards, the VU FSC has been undertaking institutional reform in terms of enhancing corporate governance standards, supervisory capabilities, and organizational structure. The authority has strict requirements for financial dealers. For instance, a licensed dealer must observe high standards of integrity in the conduct of its business, such as implementing internal policies to hinder any kind of market misconduct. On top of that, a licensed dealer is required to install well-documented procedures for the processing of client complaints.

With that said, to be licensed by the VU FSC has demonstrated the strength of Doo Prime in the industry, and moreover, its dedication to protecting clients from financial risks.

In order to let clients learn more about the license details, Doo Prime has prepared guidelines on the license verification procedures.
