We are making some important updates to how futures contracts are listed and traded on our platform.
To enhance trading efficiency and align with market best practices, only the nearest month’s futures contract will remain open for trading. This change will take effect on June 23, 2025, at 00:00 (UTC+3).
What’s Changing?
Previously, multiple contract months were open for trading at the same time.
Moving forward:
- Only the nearest month’s contract will be open for trading.
- All other contracts will be placed in close-only mode.
- The next month’s contract will only open one week before the current (nearest) contract expires.
What This Means (Example)
Let’s say today is June 23, and the following contracts are currently listed for the VXM futures product:
Contract Code | Expiry Month | New Trading Status |
---|---|---|
VXM_2507 | July 2025 | Fully tradable (open/close) |
VXM_2508 | August 2025 | Close-only (no new positions allowed) |
Here’s how it works:
- From June 23, you can only trade VXM_2507 normally.
- VXM_2508 will still be visible, but you cannot open new positions.
- One week before VXM_2507 expires, VXM_2508 will become tradable again for both opening and closing.
This rolling system will apply to all futures products going forward.
Contracts Moving to Close-Only Mode
The following contracts will be switched to close-only starting June 23, 2025, at 00:00 (UTC+3):
CNA50_2506 | NG_2507 |
DAX_2506 | SI_2507 |
COIL_2508 | VXM_2508 |
GC_2512 | XC_2507 |
GC_2602 | XK_2507 |
HG_2507 | XW_2507 |
HSI_2506 | ZC_2507 |
MHI_2506 | ZS_2507 |
N225M_2508 | ZW_2507 |
